Novus Records (later Arista Novus and RCA Novus was a United States jazz and contemporary jazz record label. It was an Arista Records imprint focused on then-contemporary jazz artists. During the 1980s it became an imprint of RCA Records.
Artists who released material on the later incarnation, RCA Novus, include Air, Chet Baker, Nina Simone, Roy Hargrove, Marcus Roberts, Warren Bernhardt, Hugh Masekela, Liz Story, Michael Shrieve, Elements, John Pizzarelli, Steve Coleman, Henry Threadgill and Opafire featuring Zachary Norman E.
The catalog is now managed by Sony Masterworks through its Masterworks Jazz imprint.
